This year was my first year riding and volunteering with CIBA’s Hilly Hundred Weekend! What a great experience! After volunteering with registration Friday evening and Saturday morning, I got to ride the Hilly Hundred with my dad. I commute to work by bike almost everyday, and I had ridden a 200 km brevet back in May with Indiana Randonneurs, so I felt fairly confident in being able to handle the hills. The weather was cool, but the scenery was gorgeous! I rode my steel frame Raliegh Port Townsend touring bike, and she did not let me down. I look foward to making Hilly Hundred an annual tradition and riding more brevets!
