Mayor’s Bike Ride

Join Mayor Greg Ballard for the 2014 Mayor's Bike Ride. This ride begins and ends at the City Market and features Indy's Near Northside. Check out the first Saturday Farmer's Market from 9:30 am-12:30 pm when you finish the ride for some well-earned treats!


Bicycle Garage Indy Downtown will be open and will be able to provide mechanical assistance prior to the ride.

Bike safety information, children's bike helmets, door prizes, and snacks will be available for participants. FREE T-shirts will be provided to the first 200 participants that register! You must be present on the day of the ride to claim your shirt. Shirts will also be available to purchase on the day of the ride.

Kids Tri to Kids Series

At all the KT4K 2014 races, there will be BOTH a TRIATHLON and a DUATHLON offered for your racing enjoyment.  There will also be a FREE FAMILY FUN RUN after the last race finisher to give the WHOLE FAMILY the opportunity to get out and RUN!!

Timing of events:

Registration 7:30 – 9:00
Pre-race meeting at 9:00
Racing begins at approximately 9:30

Kids Tri for Kids IUPUI Triathlon distances:

Swim: Ages 7-10 will complete one lap (100 meters). Ages 11-14 will
complete two laps (200 meters)
Bike: Ages 7 – 10 will complete one loop (2 miles) while Ages 11-14
will complete 2 loops (4 miles)
Run: Ages 7-10 year olds will run a ½ mile while ages 11-14  will run a full
NOTE: There is also a Duathlon option.

Indianapolis Sprint Triathlon Series #1

Saturday, June 14 @ 8 am
Eagle Creek Park, 7820 W. 56th St., Indianapolis

The Indianapolis Sprint Triathlon Series consists of three summer triathlons and duathlons at Eagle Creek Park. All three events are limited to the first 600 individuals and 50 teams.

Series Dates: June 14, July 19 and August 16, 2014

Event Options include:

Sprint Distance – 500 meter swim, 10 mile bike, 3 mile run
Duathlon – 2 mile run, 10 mile bike, 3 mile run
Triathlon/Duathlon Relay – 2 to 3 person team (on person swim/runs, one person bikes, one person runs)

Ride Indiana – Wish for Our Heroes – Sept. 17-21 – NEW RIDE for 2014

The first annual, Ride Indiana fundraiser will be held on September 17-21, 2014 benefiting WISH for OUR HEROES (W4OH). This event will take 24 cyclists and 6 support staff from Warsaw to Indianapolis in the span of 5 days covering over 470 miles. The sole purpose and mission of this fundraising event is to assist Hoosier military families facing hardships. The goal is to assist 500 military families!!

Although only 24 riders will be selected to ride for the entire 470 miles, RIDE INDIANA will accept a limited number of day riders for each individual day’s ride (approximately 100 miles per day). Ride Indiana is requesting a $150 minimum donation for each day rider to assist in RIDE INDIANA’s overall goal of helping 500 Hoosier military families facing hardships.  As a day rider, you will receive a commemorative RIDE INDIANA jersey, meals throughout the day, and return transportation to the start point.
