Riders at the 2012 Polar Bear Pedal gather on Market StreetThis will be the second year Mayor Ballard will lead the winter season bicycle ride and we want to make it even bigger. This year the ride will highlight bike lanes and facilities Downtown and on the Southside.  Participants will enjoy a casual 10 mile bike ride that will loop back to the Indy Bike Hub.

Hot Chocolate will be served at the Hub for returning riders, and a number of Indianapolis City Market Merchant's will be open before and after the ride.  Riders are also encouraged to visit the Winter Famers Market, taking place in the west wing of City Market.  Courtesy bicycle parking before and after the event will be provided by Pedal and Park, and inside the Indy Bike Hub YMCA.
