For my 10th birthday I was so excited to receive a Schwinn bicycle that my uncle had owned for 10 years. I rode it in farm country near Lucerne IN for many years then it was stored in a barn. Now 67 years later I realize how unique it is with a steering lock. About 40 years ago I had it restored to a useable bike and it still looks great!
Name: Richard Powlen
Bicycle: 1935 Schwinn
Richard: What a great story about a classic bike with a lot of memories. And steering locks can still be found on some dedicated commuter bikes, especially in Europe. . Thanks from everyone at Bicycle Garage Indy for sharing Your Bicycle picture and story.
