Bicycle Garage Indy’s 2012 helmet selection began arriving last week, including models from from Bell, Bontrager, Giro. And new at BGI for 2012, four new helmets from Cannondale. Cannondale Terramo, new for 2012 at Bicycle Garage indyCannondale spent 18 months in developing its first helmet line, covering four riding styles. The Teramo ($109.99), for performance road rider; the Ryker($74.99), for performance mountain bike riders; Radius ($59.99), intended for the weekend warrior; and the Quick ($39.99), for entry level riders.

Cannondale Ryker, new for 2012 at Bicycle Garage indyThe Teramo and Ryker use a dual-density EPS foam, alloy cage reinforcements and a super-soft rubber occipital pad that uses material similar to that found on Crocs, the popular rubber-like footwear. All four helmets feature an adjustable fit system that lets users dial micro-adjust the inner fit band.

Cannondale Radius, new for 2012 at Bicycle Garage indyAll models meet current CPSC and European standards. Each helmet offers two sizes: large/extra large and small/medium.
